Mwangathia Ward MCA Mugambi Njuki has credited his working relationship with the Meru County Government for enabling the implementation of development projects across the ward, including road maintenance, bridge improvements and community initiatives.

Speaking in Chaaria, Njuki said cooperation between his office and the county administration had helped address key infrastructure and community needs, with residents benefiting from projects aimed at improving connectivity and supporting local development.
Njuki made the remarks during a Chaaria community event where the Imani Chaaria Market Community-Based Organisation (CBO) officially unveiled its new dress code. He also donated a tent with a 50-person capacity and 50 seats to support the organisation’s programmes and activities.
The support is expected to strengthen the CBO’s ability to organise community activities and serve its members. The organisation’s chairman said Imani Chaaria Market CBO has plans to expand its operations, create more opportunities for members and increase its contribution to the development of the Chaaria community.
