South Imenti MP Dr. Shadrack Mwiti, speaking during an inspection of the Nkubu Township Links Road, said continued investment in roads and public facilities was critical to improving access to markets, schools, hospitals and other essential services. He attributed the progress of several projects to government support and funding for infrastructure development.

Dr. Mwiti thanked  President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki for supporting development programmes in South Imenti, particularly road projects, saying improved connectivity would help unlock economic opportunities for residents.

Contractor Brian Kinyua assured residents that construction of the Nkubu Township Links Road would be completed within the shortest possible time, raising expectations that the project will ease movement within the township and surrounding areas.

Municipal Manager Ken Kamashinani urged residents to support development initiatives in the constituency, saying cooperation between the community and leaders would help attract and sustain more projects.

The ongoing works are expected to improve movement of farm produce, facilitate trade and make access to essential services easier for residents across South Imenti.
